FAQ'S

  • Yes, we’re fully licensed in both Victoria (Builder, class of Domestic Builder (Unlimited) - Licence No. DB-U 100762) and Queensland (Builder—low rise, Licence No. 1278041), and carry all the required insurances. That means you can feel confident knowing your renovation is in safe, experienced hands, and everything we do meets current regulations and standards.

  • We do—and we enjoy it. Whether you already have plans or need help bringing your ideas to life, we work closely with your architect or designer to make sure everything runs smoothly from the first sketch to the final detail. It’s all about keeping the process seamless and collaborative.

  • No need—we’ve got that covered. We work with a trusted team of licensed trades who know our standards and how we operate. If you have someone specific you’d like to bring in, we’re open to it, as long as they’re qualified and insured. It’s all about making sure the job gets done right.

  • Transparency matters. Our quotes clearly outline what’s included—materials, labour, timelines, and any provisional sums. We walk you through everything up front, so there are no surprises later on.

That said, especially with renovations, we always recommend clients keep a provision in their own budget for unexpected works or changes of mind along the way. Older homes can uncover things once walls come down or floors come up—and sometimes ideas shift as the build takes shape.

When that happens, we’ll always talk it through with you and look for the most cost-effective, practical solution to keep your project moving forward without blowing the budget.

  • Every project is different, but once we’ve seen the plans and scope, we’ll give you a realistic timeline and keep you informed at every stage. As a guide, something like a bathroom renovation usually takes around 3 to 5 weeks.

  • Clear, consistent communication is part of how we work. You’ll have a single point of contact throughout the build, with regular updates—on-site, over the phone, or by email—whatever suits you best. We’re big believers in no surprises and no chasing.

  • Whether you’re ready to renovate or just exploring the idea, here’s what the typical process looks like with us:

    1. Reach out
Start by filling out our project enquiry form —tell us a bit about your project goals, budget, and timeline.

     2. We’ll be in touch
Within 3 business days, our builder and project manager will give you a call to chat through your project, answer any initial questions, and make sure we’re the right fit for your job.

    3. Site visit
If it all sounds good, we’ll book in a site visit. This helps us properly understand the space, flag any early challenges, and gather what we need to prepare an accurate quote.

     4. Detailed quote
Depending on the scope of your project, we aim to get back to you as soon as practical—typically within 2 weeks of your initial enquiry. Your formal quote will outline the scope of work, materials, timelines, and any provisional costs—so you know exactly what you’re working with.

    5. Tools up
Once the quote is approved and paperwork is sorted, we lock in your project start date. From there, we coordinate everything—trades, timelines, and quality control—keeping you in the loop the whole way through.
